OpenID Connect (OIDC)

  • This update adds the ability to extend OIDC-authenticated ConsoleWorks sessions past the expiration time via Refresh Tokens if enabled by the OIDC
    authentication provider.
  • This update adds the option to log out a User's OpenID Connect session when that user logs out of ConsoleWorks
  • This update improves the security of OpenID Connect sessions by passing a randomized, unique identifier as the state parameter when initiating
    an OIDC authentication.

    Graphical Gateway Now Available on Windows Platforms

    • This update adds a new Graphical Gateway service that can be hosted on all Windows platforms supported by ConsoleWorks. Currently only RDP connections
      are supported on the Windows platform but VNC support is planned for a future release. Supported Windows platforms are Server 2019, Server 2022, and Server 2025
